We have a mix of solo and couples on our trips but, on average, it leans more towards solo travelers.

WHAT IS THE AVERAGE AGE OF MEMBERS ON YOUR TRIPS?2024-04-07T16:18:53+00:00

Age is just a number! Mindset is much more meaningful such that we all have a passion for travel and having authentic, local experiences while also maintaining our important and successful careers. However, the average age is around mid-40’s.

We strive to keep our trips exclusive and intimate so our group size typically ranges from 4 to 8 members, including partners.

Travel packages are pretty all-inclusive but don’t include: airfare, food & drinks not explicitly stated, or gratuities.

The cost of each trip is a function of the destination, accommodations, length of stay, and the local experiences. However, 1-month travel packages typically range from $5-8k per person.

Experiences vary by destination, but we work directly with local businesses and providers to offer members the most authentic experiences possible. We select service providers through our extensive travel network or through personal experience. The main purpose of our local experiences is to educate and share local history, customs, and culture with our members.

Most people work the same amount as they work back home.

In fact, one member commented she was more focused & effective because she time-boxed her workload to get everything done before the nightly fun started.

We can do this in a variety of ways:

– Communication with the hosts & owners of the accommodations.
– Pre-arrival speed tests to assess speed & stability of the signal.
– Redundancy through multiple, global hotspots & service providers.
– Wi-Fi boosters
– Access to local coworking spaces.

Workspaces vary based on the type of accommodations. However, most members prefer working in the common living areas and seek private, quiet areas for phone calls and Zoom meetings.

Yes – absolutely! We ensure members have a variety of workspaces to meet their needs.

We do not plan any group activities during US business hours since that is when most members need to work.

However, due to synchronous and asynchronous work, actual working hours can differ by member.

We stay in high-end apartments, homes, or villas. Sometimes we each have our own apartment but other times, we share a large villa.

When we share a villa, we each have our own private bedroom but share living areas such as kitchen, dining room, living room, and pool.

We plan trips for 1 month but there are options for those who can only join for a week or 2.

  • Step 1 – Conversation begins inside the community around destinations, dates, and level of interest. Once there is solid interest, Kristie Sullivan, the community founder, creates a private Cohort (eg. subgroup) to facilitate further synchronous and asynchronous travel planning discussions.
  • Step 2 – Kristie researches and makes phone calls around things like accommodations, logistics, transportation, and local experiences. She reports her findings back to the Cohort for members to give a “yay” or “nay” on each. We iterate this process until the itinerary is complete and everyone is excited!
  • Step 3 – Based on the final itinerary, Kristie crunches the numbers and communicates the total cost per person for the trip.
  • Step 4 – Members make a 50% down payment to reserve their spot with the balance due within 30 days of the trip.
  • Step 5 – Members continue to communicate and share information within the Cohort leading up to the trip until a special WhatsApp group is created for use while traveling.
